This is the perfect opportunity to enjoy a romantic, fairy-tale style holiday in a mini Gothic-castle sleeping up to 4 guests in Dover. The Grade II listed property dates back to 1850 and was originally the gate house for the Dover Castle garrison.
The mini castle is located by Dover Castle and is close to shops, pubs and attractions such as the White Cliffs, the Wartime Tunnels and a chance to cross the Channel. There are castles to visit in nearby Deal and Walmer plus Canterbury and Sandwich are within easy reach.
The Gate House offers accommodation over 2 floors. Downstairs is the living area with cosy gas stove, TV, DVD and double sofa bed. There is a fully equipped kitchen with washing machine and dishwasher plus the dining area. The first floor offers the master bedroom with romantic canopied bed beneath exposed beams. There is an adjacent dressing room within the turret and a bathroom with a full-size bath and with hand-held shower attachment. There is a small outdoor area with a garden seat.
