4 Winds Lakeland Tipis in the beautiful English Lake District. The site has designated areas on the National Trust Low Wray Campsite, close to Ambleside and to the north of Lake Windermere. Within view of the historic and magnificent Low Wray Castle.
Watch the sun rise over England's largest lake and enjoy the magnificent views across the water to Wansfell Pike and The Fairfield Horseshoe. Situated on the western shore of Windermere, Low Wray is the perfect base for a whole range of outdoor activities. There are opportunities for gentle walks and great off-road biking from the campsite. The quiet country lanes will also prove attractive to cycle tourers.
Low Wray is ideal for watersports including windsurfing, canoeists and dinghy sailors, with on-site access for launching.
The tipis are authentically painted and sleep 2, 4 or 6 people. They are fully weather proofed and have groundsheets, carpet and decorative rugs.
