Boturnell Barns offers dog-friendly holidays in a collection of farm cottages in St Pinnock, Cornwall. Pets are free (except horses and ponies for which there is a livery charge), and welcomed throughout the accommodation. There is plenty of space to walk and exercise dogs and each cottage has an enclosed area.
Beau Tunnel - a converted Nissan Hut has many quirky features. It has been described as a gypsy caravan only much bigger. There is a fully fitted kitchen with fridge, freezer, dishwasher, microwave and Belfast sink. There are 2 bedrooms, a double and a single, but with a captain's bed, so it can sleep 2. The lounge area has a log-burning stove and TV with integral DVD player. The bathroom has a corner bath, with a hand held shower. There is an enclosed garden with super views over the fields.
Beau Tunnel is offered for weekly stays with a Saturday changeover day. Prices start from £225 in winter to £599 a week at peak times.
The Shepherd's Hut has recently been refurbished to cater for guests. It has a futon style sofa which opens out into a bed and the place is heated by a log burning stove with an oven and hot plate so you can cook the old fashioned way. A nearby shower room is available for your use just 2 minutes away. There is an electric point, so you can use the flat screen TV with integral DVD player. WiFi is available on the farm, but may not reach you here. It has an enclosed garde, with chimenea and stunning views over the valley and woods.
The Shepherd's Hut is a compact space but priced at just £25 a night / £125 per week its a great budget getaway.
There are 2 other farm cottages sleeping from 2-4 people (and your pet) for weekly stays. Changeover day is Friday. Prices start from just £199 in the winter to £550 at peak times.
