4 traditional yurts, each tastefully decorated in their own unique style, stand on an idyllic site near the town of Ashbourne, perfect for a romantic getaway or for families or groups of friends in search of a relaxing holiday in which there is still plenty of things to do.
"Forget-me-not", "Clover" and "Lavender" each have a luxurious double bed, can however sleep up to 2 more guests on additional futon-beds. There are outdoor seating areas, but there is also the possibility to stargaze from inside via the central skylight, and all yurts are equipped with lovely wooden tables and chairs. The newest yurt "Bluebell" can accommodate 2 guests with a luxurious wooden double bed and has it's own hot tub in a private enclosure with outdoor seating.
Romantic torches, candles and lanterns substitute electricity in the yurts, and to add to the cosy atmosphere each yurt has their own log burner.
To make the stay even more relaxing, the site has a privately enclosed large wood fuelled Hot Tub and Sauna.
The kitchen blocks are fully equipped for the travellers every need, with gas ovens, microwaves, toasters, all utensils and cutlery and plenty of worktop space. The state of the art shower and washroom facilities include underfloor heating, three toilets, three waterfall showers...
From the possibility to visit Sudbury Hall, Tissington Hall and Chatsworth House to leisure activities like cycling, fly fishing, bird watching, sailing, canoeing and wind surfing in the Alton Towers or Quad Trekking and Laser Tag in the Wild Park Derbyshire, the local area has a lot to offer.
