Amazing!

I stayed in the Counting Sheep Shepherds Hut with my boyfriend for two nights in September. I booked it on a whim for my birthday and wasn't sure what to expect. What I found was a perfect little hut surrounded by breathtaking Somerset scenery. I am so glad we took the plunge and booked it! Our host was very generous, the lovely breakfast hampers were a joy to wake up to and it seems that every little detail about the hut had been thought of. The 'kitchen' area was stocked with everything you might need. The wood burner was filled with wood and kindling so that we only needed to light a match to get the fire going. We were lucky with the weather and the hut was warm without the fire (although we lit it anyway for the romance!) The bed was comfy clean and cosy. I enjoyed every minute! I spent a lot of time just taking in the view (using the binoculars supplied!) and watching the sheep in the field. I didn't want to leave and would recommend this hidden gem to anyone.
