Don Enrique Lodge is delightfully located in the Paranaense jungle, away from every town or crowded roads. 280 kms away from Posadas and 290 kms away from Cataratas del Iguazu, this wild and pristine region also encompasses the wonderful Moconá Waterfalls (Saltos del Moconá). Deep inside a rainforest stream, Don Enrique emerges on Paraíso river bank, at the south side of Reserva de Biósfera Yabotí.
While jungle perfumes sneak in through the windows, the rippling sound of the river is interrupted by bird songs coming from the jungle's depths. As the sounds of nature invite you to relax, a hammock hangs on the cabin's porch and the deck offers comfortable deck chairs beside the calm river. The three cabins are 50 metres distant from each other beside the river and inmmersed in the marvelous greenness of thick forest. In every cabin there's a chimney, a sitting room and a large bathroom with huge windows to get a perfect view of the magnificent landscape. There is also lodge accommodation.
There is a full programme of excursions and outdoor activities, such as guided hikes and treks along the jungle, tours to hidden falls and cascades, bird watching walks as well as specific outings guided by an ornithologist; mountain-bike and 4WD rides around nature reserves and protected areas, as well as a visit to a traditional Guaraní village.
Paraíso River provides a perfect scenario for amazing activities throughout the year: rubber runs through the rapids and kayak and caico rides through the stream. During the warm season, swimming in the river surrounded by the remarkable natural beauty of the rainforest is a big great pleasure.
Minimum stay 2 nights. Prices include full board, guided activities, ecological bathroom toiletries (other products are banned) and maid and hotel services. For a single person US$200 a day, double US$150 per person a day, triple room US$130 per person a day and four people at US$110 per person a day. Children under 10 years are US$90 per day.
