EcoPod Holidays has moved to a new and even more beautiful location!

Nestled in a secluded one acre field in the grounds of a pub with views of Carsington Water the EcoPods provide a great glamping getaway for either couples or families. The cabins themselves provide a secluded, warm and comfortable space to stay where you can relax, cook a meal and toast yourself around the wood-burning stove after an enjoyable day.

If you prefer eating out and socialising the pub is a five minute walk away and hosts great pub grub and also a restaurant. There is also a large children’s play area.

For those of you who love a more outdoor experience you can build a fire outside and watch the stars. EcoPods are powered by the sun. The power is used for the internal lights, to charge a mobile phone and the integral music system. Wood burners provide hot water for the showers and keep the EcoPods warm and cosy!

Carsington Water is a great place to spend a few days, either cycling, walking or on the water! The water-sports centre offers, canoeing, sailing, windsurfing, or fly fishing from a boat. There is also a visitors centre with café, boutique shops and of course Ice Cream!

There are two sites. The main site, has three EcoPods (1 sleeping 2 people and the other 2 sleeping up to 4) in a one acre field in the grounds of the Knockerdown Inn which has a great children’s play area, good bar food and restaurant. The second site has one EcoPod is for 2 and very private (The Hidden Holly).

Alton Towers or Matlock Bath are a 15 minute drive. Chatsworth House, Haddon Hall, Heights of Abraham, Bakewell and the Blue John caverns are also not far away.
