Hosted by guides to provide a unique stay in the great outdoors at Falls Brook Yurts. There are two 20ft yurts which can sleep up to 7 or 8 people with a sky dome to the stars.
The Falls Brook area offers activities year round, hiking to waterfalls, secluded fishing ponds, rent a canoe on Minerva Lake and there is white water rafting on the Hudson river & many mountain biking trails. In winter there is lots of snow, you can even cross country ski & snowshoe from your yurt. Nearby there are places you can rent winter sports equipment. Bring your own sleeping bag, linens, torch & backpack.
Both circular well insulated yurts have a kitchen with gas stove, futon beds, bunks & a queen size bed. Outside there's a covered deck with fire pit with grill. Composting bathrooms are close by.
Nearby there is also Little Moose Bungalow to rent which sleeps 6-8 people. Please enquire for more details.
To keep the location secret, directions are sent about a week prior to arrival.
Well behaved pets welcome. 2 nights minimum stay. Snow shoes with crampons needed for winter.
Prices start from $95 for two people and each additional guest is $20 per night. Children under 11 free.
