Camping Lazy is set in natural meadows where wildlife and wildflowers abound. Set on 21 acres of farmland in Cerovo, where goats and sheep, chickens, two funny pigs and 3 ponies also live. Here equipped pyramid tents, bell tents and a shepherds hut offer glamping accommodation to guests and children can make friends with the animals.
The Shepherds Hut is a traditional Slovakian caravan, restored to provide cosy and stylish accommodation for up to 2 adults and 2 children. It sits on a slightly elevated position too make the most of the views across the Cerovo Lazy. Inside, the hut is decorated with subtle colours, a double bed with a single above, a sofa, a table, a small kitchen and a real wood burning stove. Outside find a firepit, table and chairs for 4 and space for 1 car - plus views.
There are 4 Pyramid tents - 2 sets of 2. One can sleep 2 adults and the other for up to 4 children. There are also 3 bell tents available for families of 4-6. They come complete with their own cupboard kitchen and firepitch. There is a two mattresses on slated bed bases and airbeds for the children, plastic table and 6 chairs, kitchenette with mini fridge, lighting and a power point. Just bring your own bedding or it can be hired for a small fee.
All these glamping options can make use of the camping facilities on site. Wash facilities include hot showers and flushing and eco-toilets and basins. Camping Lazy has much to entertain children. A set up swimming pool and play area, zip-line and the horses are saddled up in July and August for children to have a ride. Dogs are welcomed on request if kept under control.
The tents and hut are rentable from arrival on Sundays to departure on Saturdays, particularly in school holidays. Prices start at €150 a week to €325 for the larger tents in peak season. The Shepherds Hut costs from €250 - €400 a week.
