Located a 5 minute drive from the Tip of Borneo in Sabah, Malaysia, Hibiscus Beach Retreat is a one bedroom self-contained chalet, suitable for couples and small families. It is perched on a small cliff top with unrivalled views.

Wake up in the morning to enjoy a breakfast of cereal, bread and local fruits. After a coffee, walk down the stseps to a secluded beach - go for a swim, snorkel or stroll. Lunch can be delivered to you, followed by a siesta in a hammock or sunbathe on the deck.

For the more energetic, go jungle trekking, mountain biking, mangrove touring...But make sure you return in time to watch the sun go down with a chilled glass of wine before enjoying a BBQ (this can be prepared by a local chef) or ordering some great local food from one of the nearby restaurants.

There is a queen size bed plus sofabed so the chalet can sleep a maximum of 4. There is an ensuite shower room, ceiling fan plus air-con can be used at night only, 32" LED TV and DVD player, stereo with ipod dock, coffee pod machine, fridge, kettle and toaster, BBQ, sunloungers and snorkeling equipment. The chalet has daily maid service, 24 hour security and food and beverage pre-ordering service.

Rates are from around £85 a night to £100 a night for 2. 3 night minimum stay in peak season. Approximately £10 a night for an additional adult or child.
