Domaine Provencal

Campsite le Domaine des Grands Prés is situated right in the middle of the Drôme Provençale at the touristy little town of Dieulefit. This town has a reputation for arts and crafts, its sunny clime and warm welcome. The site has many glamping accommodation options to choose from and a pool for guests use in summer.

There are 8 fully equipped romany style caravans, sleeping 2 to 4 people on a double alcove bed and 2 single sofa beds, plus bathroom, mini kitchen, TV and garden furniture. These cosy bohemian style caravans are in a dedicated area alongside the river, yet within close proximity of the town.

The Wooden Hut is a raised cabin for 2 to 4 guests. There is a separate bedroom, kitchen, bathroom, heating and terrace.

Also available are yurts that sleep from 2 to 4 on i double bed, 1 single sofa bed and 1 single pull out bed. The yurts have traditional mongol furniture in vivid colours, garden furniture, storage chest and cooking facilities.

Also you may choose one of the wooden chalets which sleep up to 5 people. There is a double bedroom with access to sauna and terrace, a children's bedroom and a fifth person could sleep on a pull out bed in the living area. This accommodation has TV, kitchen, bathroom and terrace with garden furniture and spa.

There are a number of tipis, cabins, canvas covered lodges, a gite, furnished tents, yurts and chalets.

There are plenty of activities available in the area - including tennis courts close by, walks, quad biking, cycle routes, horse rides and fishing. On site there is a swimming pool and children's play area, boules and table tennis.

It is open from mid March until early November. Camping is also possible. Dogs possible by arrangement.

Approximate tariffs - 2 nights in a chalet for 2/4 from €128,2 nights in a roulotte for 2/4 from €158, 2 nights in the raised Wooden Hut for 2/4 from €168, and 2 nights in a chalet for 2/4 from €188. There are supplements at peak times. Other glamping options such as a yurt for 2/4 costs from €53 per night and the tipis for 2/4 are priced from €34 per night. Canvas tents for 2/6 from €98 for 2 nights, furnished Safari-style tents for 2/4 from €45 per night.
