The authentic Gypsy caravans have been renovated to a high standard and each is designer themed to reflect a different Romany experience. Situated in a private orchard at a Victorian Manor House, overlooking a woodland hollow teeming with wildlife. Perfect romantic quirky get away combined with a private llama trek the following day.

Bluebird caravan has a birdsong and wildlife theme whilst Rosalee is a traditional gypsy vardo wagon. Both caravans sleep 2 guests. Each caravan has tea and coffee making facilities, a small fridge and an outdoor log campfire. Inside there is electric lighting, sockets for charging phones etc, a traditional style electric log stove and some storage space for hang luggage and clothing. All bedding and hand towels are provided. Alongside the caravans is the woodland hut where you can find your bathroom facilities.

The Gypsy caravans do not have cooking facilities, but a 2 minute stroll down the road will take you to an award-winning bakery, restaurant or quaint village tea room. The village shop opens from 8am for breakfast and newspapers.

Fire pit and private garden space perfect for one or two couples or children over 12. Separate woodland lodge with tea making and toilet facilities and option to book a wonderful Arctic cabin facility for a romantic evening by the fire.

Locally you can enjoy hiking to Lacy's Caves or visit the many attractions that surround Penrith, including Penrith Castle and Brougham Castle. There is also a private swimming pool just a 2 minute walk away where you can book an hour session.

Spa facilities available to book in addition at our Ravenstone Country Manor on site.

You can add a Divine Intervention Spa session. This is priced at £125 per person and includes exclusive spa use for up to 4 hours with fresh coffee, 2 hours use of sauna and hot tub, shower facility, dressing gowns and slippers, 30 minute back, neck and shoulder massage OR hand and full leg massage. Add to this the use of the beautiful Orangery room for relaxation, home make cakes and afternoon tea. Additional treatments are available at a cost including reflexology, hot stones, Indian head massage and gel nails + manicure.
