On the edge of the beautiful Yorkshire Dales, near the town of Kirkby Stephen, you can find 3 lovingly restored properties; a 1750's Georgian Farmhouse which sleeps 8, a Shepherds Cottage from the 1500's which sleeps 2 and has a romantic outdoor bath, and a 15th century Barn which sleeps 6 and has an outdoor hot tub.

Locally you can do as much or as little as you like. Simply enjoy the peace and tranquillity of your chosen property with walks in the stunning countryside or enjoy a challenging bike ride or even experience paragliding! Alternatively, take time out to visit the ruins at Pendragon Castle or jump in the car and drive the short journey to the Aira Force Waterfall near Penrith. All guests are welcomed with a champagne hamper, indulge in homemade cake, artisan sourdough and locally made chocolates amongst the treats.

The Farmhouse is a grade II listed property and offers a great place to disconnect from the world and reconnect with family and friends. Enjoy a drink in the walled garden and throw a typical English BBQ or snuggle up with your loved ones in front of the open fire with a good book. Sleeping 8 in 4 bedrooms, 3 doubles and 1 twin/king bedroom, this property is perfect for a large family or groups of friends. Comfort is a number one priority here and you will love sinking into the luxurious tweed sofas of an evening or relaxing on the outdoor furniture with your morning cuppa. The original dairy is a sight to behold and now is the home to the farmhouse's honesty bar where you can try a local beer or spirit. The spacious kitchen holds a traditional butler's sink and big Rangemaster cooker, perfect for dining in, especially in front of the grand open fire in the dining room. Alternatively, if you fancy a break from cooking, there are 3 pubs in the local vicinity so you can enjoy eating out too!

The Shepherd's Cottage sleeps 2 and is the perfect romantic retreat for the couple looking to get away from it all. Chill out in the sizeable open plan living area downstairs, before venturing upstairs to the beautiful bedroom with handmade oak four-poster bed, separate changing room and double-ended roll top bath in the bathroom! Alternatively, run a bath in the garden and partake in a spot of star-gazing or enjoy snuggling up with your loved one on the hanging cocoon chair!

Angel Barn sleeps 6 in 3 kingsize rooms and is an eco-friendly property which mixes old and modern in spectacular fashion. Enjoy relaxing in the wood-fired hot tub on the outdoor lounge or hire a chef for the evening and partake in a dinner party with your friends!

3 night weekend from Friday, 4-night mid-week from Monday or a week from either arrival day. Week stay prices range from £995-£1495 in The Farmhouse or Angel Barn and from £825 - £1050 in Shepherd's Cottage. If you wish to hire all three properties together, thereby sleeping 16, the price for a week ranges from £2800 - £4080.
