Argyll & Strathyre Cabins

Mountain climbing, forest walks, fishing, canoeing, shopping and sightseeing… A break in Scotland will please everybody. So with 2 Forest Holiday locations to choose from, you can tackle big adventures or simply enjoy the forest and rare wildlife. Look out for red squirrels practically knocking on your cabin door, buzzards overhead and wild deer peeping from between the trees.

Strathyre in Stirling, with 35 well-spaced luxury forest cabins, stretching along the western shore of Loch Lubnaig, and Argyll - in the county of Argyll and Bute - with 40 luxury lochside cabins, both make the prefect base for whatever takes your fancy.

Famous for it’s Lochs; boat trips and cruises are in abundance along with sleepy villages and warming local pubs. The Scottish geography offer plenty for the adventurous and the stress-free alike.

The cabins are designed to be as environmentally friendly as possible. Underfloor heating is provided by air source heat pumps and wood pellet boilers which significantly reduce the carbon footprint.

Built exclusively for romantic couples' retreats there are Golden Oak Hideaway cabins. Each of the love nests are complete with hot tubs, hammocks and beautiful forest views.

Golden Oak Cabins come in different sizes sleeping 2-86 in 1-3 bedrooms. Hot tub on the decking, fluffy towelling robes in the en-suite, a cosy log burning stove in the spacious living area.

Silver Birch Cabins have 2-3 bedrooms and sleep 4-6 guests. The master bedroom has an en-suite and there is an inviting outdoor hot tub. There is a Silver Birch Cabin that is fully equiped and wheelchair adapted that sleeps 4 guests.

Copper Beach Cabins offer great value and sleep 4 in 2 bedrooms. They have a contemporary open plan living area complete with flat screen TV, a fully equipped kitchen and private outdoor decking. A 2 bedroom cabin of this type has disabled access and facilities in a convenient location.

Dogs are welcome in some cabins for a small fee. Grocery packs can be arranged. There is movies, internet access and the chance to order spa treatments in your cabin. If travelling with young children baby baths, high chairs and travel cots can be hired.

Corporate events can be arranged.

There is a 3/4 night minimum stay. Changeover days are Monday and Friday.
