Auvergne Naturelle

Auvergne Naturelle is located in Laval sur Doulon, a small village in the heart of the Livradois National Park, in the Auvergne region of France.

The luxury yurt accommodation provides the opportunity to sleep under canvas but with all the comforts of a hotel room. Surrounded by woodland and beautiful scenery, it is a perfect holiday for those who want to get back to nature in an area of France which is unspoilt and peaceful.

Take a paddle in the river or a stroll to the nearby village. They also offer bushcraft courses which are a fabulous way to learn about the surrounding natural environment - perhaps learn how to make a fire with sticks or find out which plants you can eat. You can choose between 4 luxurious yurts, each located on the mountain side nestled amongst the woodland with stunning views over the valley. The 18ft diameter yurts are light and spacious, each with a private composting toilet, shower and wash basin. Each yurt sits on a raised wooden platform, providing an area to relax with hammocks and dining table and chairs. The yurts are no powered by solar lighting systems for extra comfort at night.

A hearty breakfast is included, and some evenings home-cooked meals are offered. Alternatively all facilities are available to self-cater.

Prices based on 2 adults sharing a yurt start at €110 a night. Prices reduce for stays of 2 nights or more. A yurt can sleep up to 2 adults and 2 children with an additional cost of €10 per child per night. The site is open from April to September.
