In the middle of nowhere, and everywhere, at the same time. Few people, but so much to do. Hiking, climbing, ATVing, kayaking, the Colorado River, wildlife, disc golf, fossils, dinosaur footprints, jeeping, and a large telescope for a stunning night sky are right outside your door and all are free as part of your room stay.
The lodge consists of 7 bedrooms and bathrooms and a full service kitchen. There are microwaves and mini fridges in most of the rooms, outside barbeques, and a fire pit. Pans, plates, cups, silverware, dining room table with the incredible view, front and back porches. Bring your own food and drink. Propane, gas, water and most, if not all the necessities are available. There is substantial solar capacity and air conditioning and heaters in all the bedrooms.
There are beds in rooms for 19 people and 12 more in two Navajo hogans on the hill above the lodge. Plus there are 2 two bedroom houses and 2 more hogans that have been added very recently! A boat house, a boat duck, a boat ramp and a garage have also just come to form part of this beautiful property.
Rates are $135 per room per night (minimum stay is 2 nights) for the lodge rooms. $5 per night per person for those staying in the hogans, which are teepees built with wood and mud. The price for the newly added hogans starts at $135. Dogs welcome. Satelite internet.
