Deep in the wilderness of North Yorkshire you can discover this family run farm near Grantley, where 2 octagonal wooden cabins (that sleep 2-4 people) enjoy panoramic views across the Nidderdale Valley.
The cabins themselves are simple in design yet offer comfort and a warm welcome with a toasty log-burner. Each cabin has a double bed with memory foam mattress, perfect for sinking into after a day exploring the dales, plus there is a bunk bed for the kiddies, if you want to bring them with you! The cabins enjoy en-suite shower rooms plus there is a small kitchenette facility nearby which offers a toaster, microwave and kettle plus space for the all important washing up!
Of a day time you can enjoy the beautiful countryside views and meet the cows, whilst at night the bright starry sky will astound you, just be sure to make a wish when you see a shooting star! The owners are proud of the natural wilderness of the site and welcome wildlife such as wild deer, birds of prey plus of course the wild flora that grows everywhere.
If you wish to explore a little further then Nidderdale offers you an abundance of choice, with Fountains Abbey and Studley Royal comprising of the largest abbey ruins in the country, plus a deer park and water garden. Alternatively take time to explore the many small villages nearby including Pateley Bridge which is renowned for having The Oldest Sweet Shop in England!
Back on site please note that there is no wifi and even 3G/4G signal can be hard to come across, so kick back and enjoy the feeling of being off grid with a good book, pack of cards or just good old fashioned conversation!
Prices range from £100-£120 per night for 2 people, with additional people costing £15 each to maximum 4 guests.
There is a minimum 2 night stay with Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday arrivals.
Bedlinen is provided for the double bed but guests need to bring their own for the bunks. The owners kindly ask that you have indoor shoes for use in the cabins and recommend wellies or walking boots for outside!
Dogs welcome, but they must be kept on a lead due to livestock. See the terms regarding this when agreeing to book. There is a charge of £6 per dog per night, maximum of 2 per cabin.
