There are 2 topsy-turvy Tree Houses at Blackberry Wood aptly named "Higgledy" and "Piggledy" for 4 adults or 2 adults and 2 children. Not only that this site offers many other unusual accommodation to inspire you such as a "holicopter", a double-decker London bus, a Gypsy Caravan, a Curvy Cabin and a Fire Engine. This quiet glamping and camping site has everything you need for a back to nature experience.

Like something out of a Harry Potter film and formed out of naturally curvy branches, the handcrafted "Higgledy" Tree House has a double bed and a snug loft bed. Fully self-contained with a shower room in the copper-lined turret and the kitchen offers a 2 ring hob, fridge, toaster and microwave. Heating is provided and also a wood burning stove for those chilly British evenings. A nice touch is the window seat for animal watching. There is also an outside dining area and a chiminea.

The marvellous "Piggledy" Tree House sleeps up to 4 adults or 2 adults and 2 children in 2 double beds. The beautiful heart shaped stained glass window is a unique feature, inside it is deceptively spacious with two double beds, a fitted kitchen with hob, toaster, fridge and microwave. In addition to heating, there is a wood burning stove which will keep you warm on chilly evenings. There is a bathroom with shower.

Bedding and towels are provided for the treehouses.

The Holicopter is a 1965 Royal Navy Wessex Search and Rescue helicopter conversion which sleeps 4 in either 2 doubles or 1 double and twin beds. An outside kitchen area is a welcome addition to the Holicopter. Bring your own bedding and towels.

Why not stay on the Holiday Bus. It is a 1964 Routemaster London double-decker bus converted to sleep up to 4 and also has a large soft play area on board which at night converts to a bedroom. Downstairs is a kitchen/dining area whilst upstairs is the lounge/sleeping area.

For a perfect romantic escape, the 1930's Gypsy Caravan sleeps 2. There is a handmade outside kitchen with fridge, gas cooker, toaster and utensils. To complete your stay, a fire pit is provided for a fire or BBQ.

A designer eco log cabin which sleeps 4 is named the Curvy Cabin. It has a double bed and bunk room for kids. Perhaps the most agreeable option at Blackberry Wood. It is fully insulated with shower room, WC and well-equipped kitchen.

The latest addition to the quirky glamping options is 'Angus' the Fire Engine, self-contained and sleeping 4 people in double bunk beds. Fully refurbished, insulated and heated, it comes with a kitchen, dining area & shower room/toilet. Possibility to sleep an additional person on a daybed. Outside is a private area with a fire pit and a bbq grill.

Also, there are 20 camping pitches nestled in their own woodland glade with their own fire/BBQ pit. Basic washing and loo facilities nearby.

Nearby there is plenty to keep you entertained - maps of the area are supplied and a walk to the nearest country pub is just 30 minutes away. The pretty village of Ditchling is a 40 minutes walk. The area is also perfect for cycling. Brighton is just 10 miles away.
