Blackwood Forest Cabins

Blackwood Forest’s 60 luxury cabins are deep in a 270-hectare beech forest in the rolling countryside of Hampshire. Their full range of architect-designed cabin accommodation includes the new Golden Oak Hideaway cabin, exclusively for couples. When you arrive on-site you can make your way to the Forest Retreat, where you can shop, eat, drink, meet the team and book your activities, including the Forest Ranger activities. There is also an exciting children’s play area.

At Blackwood Forest Cabins you can get back to nature and explore the amazing forest that surrounds you and your cabin. You'll find a number of forest walks and trails that will lead you through the beautiful ancient forest. Forest walks and trails offer an ideal opportunity to discover the amazing wildlife that inhabits the forest. Bring your binoculars and look out for wildlife, flora and fauna. The forests are quite literally teaming with wildlife!

Just an hour from London by train and only a few miles from the Medieval city of Winchester; you’ll never be short of things to do. Museums, parks, gardens and beautiful architecture are never hard to find, so you can choose to do as much or as little as you like.

The cabins are designed to be as environmentally friendly as possible. Underfloor heating is provided by air source heat pumps and wood pellet boilers which significantly reduce our carbon footprint.

The Golden Oak Treehouse is the ultimate forest experience. The main cabin which sleeps 10 in 5 bedrooms is connected by a rustic wooden bridge to an exclusive, en-suite room for 2.

The Golden Oak Hideaway is decadent and romantic with a hot tub and hammock on the decking, a wood burning stove, a sunken bath and panoramic forest views. Perfect for 2.

Golden Oak Cabins come in different sizes sleeping 2-8 in 1-4 bedrooms. Hot tub on the decking, fluffy towelling robes in the en-suite, a cosy log burning stove in the spacious living area.

Silver Birch Cabins have 2-3 bedrooms and sleep 4-6 guests. The master bedroom has an en-suite and there is an inviting outdoor hot tub.

Copper Beach Cabins offer great value and sleep 4-6 in 2-3 bedrooms. They have a contemporary open plan living area complete with flat screen TV, a fully equipped kitchen and private outdoor decking. A 2 bedroom cabin of this type has disabled access and facilities in a convenient location.

Dogs are welcome in some cabins for a small fee. Grocery packs can be arranged. There is movies, internet access and the chance to order spa treatments in your cabin. If travelling with young children baby baths, high chairs and travel cots can be hired.

There is a 3/4 night minimum stay. Changeover days are Monday and Friday.
