Bonanza Creek Ranch

Lennep, Montana, USA

Become a cowboy - stay at a family owned working cattle ranch in the Crazy Mountains, or book a self-catering cabin.

Description

Bonanza Creek Country Ranch lies partly in the Crazy Mountains and partly in the Castle Mountains in southern Montana. It is a working 25,000 acre cattle ranch and there are four guest log cabins, with only 8-12 guests per week. Riding is the main activity and you will be matched to a horse for your riding ability.

Canter across open country, round up a herd of cows, climb a high ridge or ride to an old homestead are just some of the horse riding activities available to guests. There are morning and afternoon rides and even some all day rides. Out of the saddle there is fishing, hiking, massage and a hot tub.

The Lodge is the heart of the ranch where everyone gathers for three home cooked meals a day. There is a large family room with fireplace, books & games, a gift shop, laundry service and WiFi in the lodge. Otherwise it is an escape - no TV, no mobile phone coverage. The four guest log cabins are spaced out amongst the trees and all have fridge, coffee pot with tea and coffee, own bathroom and most have a wood burning stove.
