60 km north of Atlanta and 10 km away from Dahlonga, Cedar House Inn & Yurts offers rooms for 2 and two beautiful yurts for a special glamping experience. The rooms have queen-sized beds and a cosy atmosphere, with pine or cedar walls and ensuite bathrooms. The yurts each have a private deck to enjoy the views or to stargaze at night, queen size beds and simulated wood stoves. They are tucked into the woods to ensure complete privacy.
The property is very eco-friendly, which the owners ensure through recycling, composting food leftovers, using green energy and planting over 300 trees. A delicious organic breakfast is served every morning. It caters for vegetarians and, with advanced notice, also for vegan, gluten-free and lactose-intolerant.
It is possible to go cycling, hiking, tubing, kayaking or touring the wineries and Dahlonega is a picturesque town with an interesting history, numerous restaurants and pubs, and several seasonal events and festivals.
