Coppins Farm

Coppins Farm offers 2 showman wagons and a railway carriage accommodation in a stunning country location. Coppin's Farm is in the centre of the tiny village of Alphamstone in Suffolk. It used to be a working farm but now boasts 150 acres of wildlife and wildflower reserve. Each place can accommodate up to 4 - great for family stays and couples - and Green Showman can accept a dog too.

There is a showman's van available to sleep 4, comprising of 1 double cabin and a pair of bunk beds in cabin 2. The van has been extensively renovated and insulated throughout with a kitchen including small oven and hob, microwave, fridge, plus a bath, shower and electric heating.

There is also an Eastern Region First Class Victorian railway carriage circa 1885 providing a bathroom, kitchen, living area and a covered veranda. There is 1 bunk bed room and a spacious double bedroom for 2 so perfect for that family getaway.

The Green Showman's Wagon sleeps 2 adults and 2 children plus a dog. It has electric and wood burner heating. £15 per dog per stay.

You can take a train from Liverpool Street, London to arrive at nearby Bures with one change. A lift can be arranged for those who don't fancy the 2-mile walk.

There is a wildlife trail camera and bat detector for guests to borrow during their stay. With a bit of patience you are likely to see badgers here.

The Den - a railway carriage museum / library - has WiFi. It is close to the farmyard carpark and guest laundry. Coppins farm is also proud to be eco-friendly and uses solar power to offer energy to all the quirky properties on site!

Each accommodation has been set separately so that guests have total privacy and can be unaware of other guests. Groups can be accommodated and weddings arranged at Coppins Farm. For additional guests over the 12 in accommodation, enquire about adding bell tents. No smoking in the accommodation.

Minimum stays 2 nights. Prices starting at £190 for a 2 night stay in low season up to £540 for a week in peak season.
