The Forest of Dean Cabins comprises 120 luxury cabins, surrounded by a maze of forest walks, trails and meadow, the cabin at the Forest of Dean are set in a glorious stretch of ancient oak woodland. It spreads out from the sublime beauty of the Wye Valley across to the mighty River Severn. The enchanting forest, the magnificent rivers, and the soaring 500ft high limestone outcrop that is Symonds Yat Rock provide the setting for every conceivable outdoor activity with which you could wish to fill a holiday. Escape to a luxury cabin and choose to stay within the forest, or in a delightful open meadow.

Sheltered beneath the forest’s protective canopy or out on the delightfully open meadow, the cabins are in complete harmony with their woodland surroundings, a luxurious sanctuary after your day’s activities. From cosy one bedroom cabins to spacious four bedroom cabins, you can match your party’s requirements exactly.

From the magical Puzzlewood (a famous filming location for Starwars, Merlin, and many other well-known films) to the fascinating cave networks, there is so much to see and do in the area. The hardest thing is deciding to leave your cabin!

The cabins are designed to be as environmentally friendly as possible. Underfloor heating is provided by air source heat pumps and wood pellet boilers which significantly reduce the carbon footprint...

The Golden Oak Treehouse is the ultimate forest experience. The main cabin which sleeps 8/10 in 4/5 bedrooms is connected by a rustic wooden bridge to an exclusive, en-suite room for 2.

The Golden Oak Hideaway is decadent and romantic with a hot tub and hammock on the decking, a wood burning stove, a sunken bath and panoramic forest views. Perfect for 2.

Golden Oak Cabins come in different sizes sleeping 2-10 in 1-5 bedrooms. Hot tub on the decking, fluffy towelling robes in the en-suite, a cosy log burning stove in the spacious living area.

Silver Birch Cabins have 2-3 bedrooms and sleep 4-6 guests. The master bedroom has an en-suite and there is an inviting outdoor hot tub.

Copper Beach Cabins offer great value and sleep 4-6 in 2-3 bedrooms. They have a contemporary open plan living area complete with flat screen TV, a fully equipped kitchen and private outdoor decking. A 2 bedroom cabin of this type has disabled access and facilities in a convenient location.

Dogs are welcome in many of the cabins, including 1 cabin for 2 people, for a small fee. Grocery packs can be arranged. There is movies, internet access and the chance to order spa treatments in your cabin. If travelling with young children baby baths, high chairs and travel cots can be hired.

Corporate events can be arranged.

There is a 3/4 night minimum stay. Changeover days are Monday and Friday.
