High Seas Hobbits

Rosehearty, Fraserburgh, Aberdeenshire, Scotland

Wooden pods with sea views offer affordable accomodation for families and friends near Fraserburgh.

Retreat to the peace and tranquility of the coastline of Inverness and discover these 2 Hobbit pods with coastal views. Sleeping 3 and 4, they are great for family and friends.

The Hobbits, which have been described as smarties tubes on their sides, are fun and unusual. They are fully insulated to keep guests cosy and dry. One Hobbit has a double bed and two singles, while the other most comfortably sleeps 2 in a double or 2 singles. A kettle, microwave, fridge, crockery and cutlery are provided, even a TV. They are set in their own field and enjoy complete privacy. It is a restful place and children can run freely and safely.

A few paces away you will find a novel toilet. A huge disused whisky barrel from one of Scotland's Distilleries has been transformed into a 'one-off' loo. With its quirky appearance, this toilet has been officially awarded the ' Home Throne Award' in 2012. The shower room comes complete with a full-length mirror, seat, shelving and hooks - all furnished with authentic rustic charm.

Each hobbit has a dining area with chairs, tables and private fire pit.

WiFi only in the Hobbits.

Prices start at £60 a night for 2, with a small extra fee for a third or fourth person charged at an extra £5 per person per night. Single nights possible.

A group of 10 can be accommodated if also adding Coastal Carriage for up to 3 at £75 a night (for minimum 2 nights. (Listed as Coastal Carriage & Harvest Hut on QuirkyAccom.com). Enquire for a group booking here.
