The restaurant and hotel in the Ješted Tower is a unique piece of architecture. It is a famous and impressive landmark. It was built in the second half of the 1960s as designed by architect K. Hubacek who received the Perret’s Prize of the International Union of Architects for it.
The three–star hotel features two suites and 12 double rooms plus 5 double rooms of the one–star category. Full lodging capacity is 38 beds with 17 additional beds.
The hotel is found at the top of the Ješted mountain, offering wide ranging views in every direction.
In summer time, a Jested Hotel guest has a wide choice of trips to the beautiful vicinity of the Jizerské Mountains, the Libverda spa, the chateaux of Sychrov and Frydlant. Liberec, the capital city of the Nisa Euro Region, offers a range of cultural and sport facilities, such as the zoo, botanical garden, indoor swimming pool, and others. It is possible to visit the Museum of Glass and Artificial Jewelery in nearby Jablonec and Nisou. Getting to Prague, the national capital, takes 1 hour by road.
In the winter season the following are available for a Jested visitor: ski slopes for beginners as well as for more sophisticated skiers, eight ski lifts and a wagon aerial cableway, a ski–jump centre and conditioned cross–country skiing tracks of the "Jizerska Magistrala" across the Jizerske Mountains tops.
