Inside is just as gorgeous as outside, with wooden floors, planked walls, floral fabrics and vintage-style accessories. The open plan living-room includes a kitchen area with fridge, gas oven and two-ring hob, a sweet dining table with a view and a sumptuous king-size bed with the most stunning carved wooden headboard and dual-aspect views. In true luxury glamping style, there is of course a warming wood-burner and an en suite shower-room. Outside, you can read a book or have a snooze in the sunshine, cook up a storm on the BBQ and dine al fresco – bliss!
If you can bear to tear yourselves away, there are plenty of places to explore nearby. Head to the coast and visit the fabulous sailing town of Fowey, with its art galleries, boutique shops and eateries, or Charlestown, infamous for its tall ships and from the TV series Poldark.
