Kulana Goddess Sanctuary is located within rainforest on an active volcano, close to the amazing Volcano National Park, black sand beaches with sea turtles, art galleries, and various towns/waterfalls/grocery & health food stores an easy drive (or bus ride) away.

Country-quirky individual spaces with shared common kitchen, bathrooms, library/art/music room, grounds, etc. But this place is offering an "Experience" rather than any type of conventional home/retreat/accommodation.

As an ever-evolving, nature-based Goddess Sanctuary/home, they welcome kindred spirits who would like to enjoy private, creative/meditative time in an "unconquered" natural environment. Share spontaneous conversations and revelations (as mutually desired) with the small number of other individuals there at any given time in this intentionally smoke/alcohol/drug-free environment.

Interesting dialogs can range on topics from the Hawaii-Atlantis-Lemuria connection to spiritual health to befriending wild land...and can sometimes include learning about/tending a variety of wild-crafted foliage, teas and Hawaiian la'au lapa'au medicinals, if you're there for awhile.

What do they mean by nature-based? Well, rather than prioritizing only human needs, they value sharing the environs with wild families of pigs when they ramble through, singing tree frogs, darting lizards, dragonflies, rescued kitties, etc. Although there is electricity and wireless internet, the aim is to unplug from the matrix in doing things like collaborating with the sun in solar showering, for example. Also at Kulana Goddess Sanctuary, they repair/recycle/reuse rather than consume as much as possible. Many people choose to be "car-free," utilizing bikes and the islands' bus system.

There are several ways folks can visit, ranging in monetary "expressions of appreciation" from $28/day/per person (with a 3-day minimum) for an individual who would like a Partial Work Trade discount in exchange for providing 1-2 hours per day of energetic tending to structures and grounds to help maintain this unique environment ... to $333/day/per person for a 3 - 12 day tailored professional retreat for Writers/Filmmakers/Artists of any Medium.

Regular Visits:
An individual contributes $55/day.
A couple or two friends who would like to share a space contribute $100/day.
One space with a queen-sized bed plus 2 singles that can welcome up to 4 people at $120/day.

Partial Work Trade Discount:
An individual who would like to provide 1-2 hours per day of energetic tending to our environment contributes $28/day with 3-day minimum.
A couple or two friends who would like to share a space and would like to help out 1-2 hours per day contribute $54/day to cover 2 people.

Tailored Retreats:
Tailored Nurturing Retreat, 3-7 days, including day adventures & optional (licensed) black lava rock massage, $215/day/person.
