Longtail Lodge is a detached contemporary property perfect for total privacy and specialising in short breaks & Celebrations it's the ultimate place for a romantic luxury getaway. Enjoy life's luxuries with an outdoor heart-shaped hot tub under permanent cover & with hydro-massage technology and mood lighting it's perfect for a spot of stargazing with a glass of bubbly.

The Lodge is a completely detached property with private undercover parking and a private entrance. The property sits just a short stroll from Lake Windermere & Bowness village. It's a beautiful unique hideaway contemporary in design & with a romantic ambience, it's the perfect retreat for that celebration weekend break or a longer relaxing holiday. It has been finished to a very high standard and features a lounge with leather double bed & memory foam mattress, two comfortable contemporary velvet chairs, flat screen wall mounted smart TV with Blu-ray player, Blu-tooth sound system and romantic mood lighting. There are double glazed French doors opening onto a private furnished balcony, perfect to enjoy breakfast on a warm morning. The heart-shaped hot tub is also under permanent cover on your doorstep & with contemporary lighting in the evening it's the ideal retreat to relax & unwind after a busy day in the Lakes. The Lodge has a spacious outdoor balcony with heating & contemporary lighting, a mini-bar and a unique al-fresco kitchen.

Internally there's a large shower room with slate tiled floor with underfloor heating, heated towel rail, a vanity sink unit with illuminated mirrors, a circular power shower and toilet, plus a selection of luxury toiletries & a generous supply of towels - bathrobes are also provided.

The kitchenette has enough facilities to prepare a delicious breakfast or snack (kettle, toaster, dishwasher & fridge), all crockery, cutlery & cleaning materials are provided. On the large all -weather outdoor terrace there's a complete full al-fresco kitchen with sideboard & rattan and glass dining furniture. This outdoor kitchen is now available for use all year round and includes a charcoal BBQ (uses picnic type trays), an induction hob, a microwave oven with grill, mobile food preparation station and sink with H & C water, there's also a heated mini-bar area with bar stools & table and a fridge so you can enjoy a relaxing drink outdoors with your partner. This is also a great place from which to admire the stunning views of mature gardens and mountain range whilst dining al fresco from the outdoor kitchen.

Bowness is just a 15-minute walk from the property and here you can find everything you need to make your stay perfect, including a wide selection of restaurants, bars and cafes to suit all tastes & budgets. You can sit and watch the world go by or alternatively there is plenty to keep you busy with some amazing visitor attractions close by. Watersports & equipment for hire on the lake including sailing, wakeboarding, kayaking or fishing. There's also golf, cycling & horse riding and 4x4 off-roading vehicles for hire.

No pets or children. Please note the outdoor kitchen & BBQ are now available all year round.

2-night minimum stay with prices starting from £180 a night midweek, and £190 per Fri-Sun night. If staying 3 or more nights there is a discounted rate for the additional nights. Valentines and Christmas & New Year may carry a supplement.

This property is not suitable for the less mobile.

The Lodge, hot tub & outside areas are for the use of 2 paying guests only. The hot tub is available for private use from 10am until 10pm and outdoor music is restricted to use only with headphones as it's a peaceful area.
