Manor House Bothy

Manor House Bothy is a delightful eco-friendly, historic property for 2+1 in the heart of rural Lincolnshire.

Part of an 18th Century stable block this ground floor property has been restored using traditional methods and offers exposed beams, limewash walls and a wood-burning stove. Cosy and warm with a kingsize bedroom, beamed living room, stylish fully equipped kitchen and with special features such as underfloor heating throughout, a deep wooden bath and a box bed in the living room (for a third guest).

Outside you can relax in your small private garden, sit back on the wooden furniture or chill out on the basket swing whilst popping a few sausages on the BBQ.

Why not enjoy a workshop during your stay? There is plenty to choose from including: bread making, chocolate making, perfumery, knitting and arts and crafts - truly something for everyone! There is also a very small local history museum in the area where the horses were once stabled. It is full of character with original mangers, hayracks, stall partitions, timber beamed ceilings, brick floors and lime-washed walls and is very atmospheric.

Locally there is plenty to explore with Tattershall Castle, Cogglesford Watermill and Lincoln on your doorstep. The Wolds is just a short drive away and here you can enjoy the beauty of nature and the local village life.

Guests are warmly welcomed by the owner, a book full of recommendations of what to see and do in Lincolnshire.

Please note this property is suitable for those with limited mobility being all on one level with grab bars in the bathroom.

There is a 3 night minimum stay at The Bothy with prices starting at £85 a night for a 7 night stay in low season. There is a minimum 4 night stay in July and August and a minimum 7 night stay over Christmas and New Year.
