Mill Valley have a small dog-friendly off-grid site in North Cornwall with 3 yurts; quirky wooden Pixie Yurt, Beech Tree Yurt and Acorn Yurt, plus a Stumpy Hobbit house, and Woodland Cabin. Each are handcrafted well thought out creations - which best suits you?

The Woodland Cabin is a wooden building made from local and reclaimed materials. It will sleep 2 only (no children in here!) and is situated on the edge of an oak woodland. Entering the cabin from its own garden area there is a porch or 'mud room' where you can hang your coat, leave your boots and dry dirty paws! There is also a small bathroom with a simple 'bucket and chuck-it' loo and washbasin with running water. The cabin also has the use of its own outdoor composting toilet just a short walk away. The main part of the cabin with its high ceiling and exposed oak beams is spacious, full of character and has everything you need for your stay. Windows on all sides make the cabin light and airy and means that you can take advantage of the woodland views. The cabin has a handmade kitchen area complete with sink, running water and solar lighting. It is heated by a large bespoke woodburner which is fitted with a stainless steel water tank so you can have warm water whilst the fire is lit. Next to the wood burner is a cosy corner where you can put your feet up and chill out on the leather sofa and take in all the handcrafted details of the cabin. The bedroom is situated on a mezzanine level which is reached by a chunky wooden ladder...fall asleep listening to the tawny owls and the peaceful sound of the weir below. Back downstairs there is a huge stable door at the side of the cabin which opens up onto its own private decked area which overlooks the stunning woodland...the perfect place for a cup of tea in the morning or a cheeky glass of wine in the evening.

The Pixie Yurt sleeps 4 and is a 16ft hand-built tapered wall wooden yurt with a cedar shingle roof. It has a comfy double bed, double sofa bed and wood burning stove. Outside you can relax by the firepit and throw some sausages on the BBQ. Nearby is its own private compost loo!

Stumpy Hobbit is a handcrafted hut built around a living ash tree in a clearing in the woods. It offers a magical getaway filled with gorgeous soft cushions, flickering candles and tranquillity. With a double bed (and space for 1 child), outside covered kitchen, woodburning stove and wood-fired pizza oven, you may never want to leave. However, don't forget that the communal wood-fired baths are just a short walk away!

The Cornish Hobbit sleeps 2 with space for 4 children if necessary on double futons. With a grass-covered roof and wooden interior this property takes you right back to nature, you could almost be inside a tree-trunk! A large woodburner inside keeps it cosy and lets you boil that all-important kettle for your morning cuppa!

The Woodland Hobbit is a great bijou getaway for 2 adults and 1 small child in a handmade wagon. There is a loft-style double bed in this off-grid property, perfect for snuggling up in whilst enjoying the views of the Cornish countryside. Enjoy a digital detox and grab a good book or enjoy a game of cards with your partner in this hand made property.

Odyssey and Nomad are upcycled horse-boxes and offer a cosy stay for 2 adults and 4 people respectively. Odyssey feels luxurious with plenty of soft furnishings to keep it cosy and romantic whilst Nomad offers a practical yet boho style with mahogany flooring and stained glass windows! Both these properties have a gas hob and oven so you can cook inside if you wish, however, enjoy the true feel of camping with al fresco dining on your outside terrace area.
