Juluchuca is nestled between the drama and beauty of the Sierra Madres and the sparkling waters of the Pacific Ocean. This unique location's proximity to natural wonders provides easy access to a host of activities - from hiking to scuba diving to deep-sea fishing to bird watching and kayaking. It's all here waiting for you. Playa Viva is located between two estuaries, one to the south created by the Juluchuca River and one to north by the Tuzal River. Playa Viva's soft sand beaches give rise to majestic dunes, which flatten into a mix of lush wetlands and palm groves. This eco resort is large in size (set in 160 acre private reserve), but small on guests.
Apart from yoga classes several mornings a week there is the opportunity to cook and eat healthy food, go hiking, birding, and visit the on-site turtle sanctury. Workshops and retreats are organised, check the website for details. Take part in the activities or simply relax in a hammock or by the pool. Children are welcome and there is plenty for them to do.
Accommodation is in a treehouse, private casitas, suites or studios - all with unobstucted ocean views. The different range of accommodation sleeps 2-12 guests. Meals are included and taken together with other guests.
