Poppy Yurt

Tucked away in a heavenly Devon meadow, surrounded by woodland and perfect for rediscovering your former carefree self, Poppy Yurt is just an idyllic spot for a couple or a family of up to 5 people. Standing tall on a wooden deck with gorgeous views over the surrounding countryside, inside is just as special as out. The large main yurt houses an open plan living space, complete with kitchen, dining and bedroom areas, while the smaller adjoining yurt houses the en suite shower-room and bunk bedroom.

Outside, there is an undercover full-size gas barbecue (your cooking appliance whilst staying here) and sink (with hot and cold water), and a picnic table for dining al fresco in the sunshine whilst taking in the wonderful surroundings. The nature lovers amongst you will love spotting all kinds of wildlife, especially around the lake, home to two islands and a little rowing boat that you are welcome to use. Your only near neighbours here are a cute cabin for two (could be perfect for the grandparents) and the owners (who will very kindly transport your luggage up to the yurt in their tractor), but all are private from one another.

Being located just off the Totnes to Dartmouth, Poppy Yurt is excellently located for exploring all that the fabulous South Hams has to offer. From Totnes, with its Friday morning market and eco-friendly shopping centre and delightful Dartmouth to Blackpool Sands (a great beach) and more.

There is a minimum 3 night stay with prices ranging from £56 - £230 per night. The yurt sleeps up to 5 people plus a baby and is open from mid April - end of November. No pets.
