This glamping site is tucked away in the peaceful Essex countryside, surrounded by an apple orchard and 20 acres of woodland. The site offers a romantic shepherds hut perfect for couples.

The glamping site has a woodfired hot tub that could be pre-booked for an afternoon. £60 for afternoon / evening use and includes staff member to prepare and light it. Wood is extra at £5 p/bag.

This delightful Shepherd’s Hut has been refurbished into a charming, small but cosy dwelling for 1-2 people. It is warm and snug inside with its own little wood burner for the Spring and Autumn months. It sits in the far right corner of the meadow under an oak tree with bathroom and kitchen facilities just across the way.

The hut comes with a double bedstead, lighting, mirror, and table at the end of the bed. Rugs, and pillows create a snug feel to the hut. Bedding and bath towels are provided for as well as extra blankets should you need them.

On site there are both indoor and outdoor dining areas as well as a fully equipped communal kitchen and BBQ area with newly installed pizza oven! If you prefer not to cook yourselves, there is a restaurant at the farm. If the British weather fails to impress then a large marquee offers a dry communal space and holds a table tennis table for your entertainment.

This glamping site is ideally located just 45 minutes from London, yet you can still enjoy a tranquil countryside setting. The area has plenty of beautiful walks and cycling routes to enjoy and Colchester is just 10 minutes away. You can also visit several nature reserves and bird watching sites nearby.

Well behaved dogs welcome and are charged per dog at £20 per pet per stay.
