The luxury glamping site is tucked away in a private valley in Compton, South Devon where you will find beautiful wildflowers and plenty of wildlife including rabbits, foxes, badgers and all kinds of different birds. There are lots of animals on-site that you can feed and plenty of eggs to be collected plus a secret play area and a games room!
If you can drag yourselves away from the site Devon has plenty to offer such as award-winning beaches and coves, lots of outdoor activities and many excellent places to eat and drink. The children will love Splashdown Quaywest with its water slides and Paignton Zoo Environmental Park, where you can watch the animals feeding and enjoy a ride on a mini train. Of if you are feeling brave of heart, then a visit to the allegedly haunted Berry Pomeroy Castle will test your nerves!
The wooden cabin is set in its own secluded corner and offers complete privacy. This is suitable for a couple or a family of 4. The adults benefit from a master double bedroom and a luxurious bathroom with a copper bath. Slide back the bathroom wall and you can bathe in the open air and enjoy the views of the countryside around you. The children will love their secret bunk beds, with a fold around curtain and porthole windows to the outside world. A wood burner keeps the cabin cosy and there is a fully equipped kitchen if you wish to cook.
Outside you can enjoy an outdoor shower or simply relax in the wood-fired hot tub and take in the beautiful starry sky. Why not light the barbeque fire pit and enjoy some gooey marshmallows, a delicious sweet treat for all the family!
There is an on-site honesty shop - Brownscombe Larder - selling delicious local produce, drinks and ice creams. Guests can pre-order from a selection of different breakfast and BBQ hampers and one-pot meals that will be waiting upon your arrival. In school holidays you can enjoy making a homemade pizza.
