WE NO LONGER FEATURE THIS ACCOMMODATION ON QUIRKYACCOM.com. But there are plenty of other amazing places here - Take a look!
Deep in the heart of Northumberland, near the town of Morpeth, you can find 10 beautiful hand-built log cabins with hot tubs, each sleeping up to 6 people and perfect for a family holiday or a group of friends holidaying together.
There are 7 cabins overlooking the lake: Argyll Cabin and Hadrian's Cabin both sleep 6 in 3 bedrooms (2 double and 1 twin). Meanwhile, Fontburn Cabin, Rothley Cabin, Sweethope Cabin, Cygnet Cabin and Bolam Cabin all sleep 6 with 1 double and 1 twin plus use of the sofa bed.
All 7 of the lakeside properties benefit from a lounge area with sofa bed and comfy chairs, flat screen TV with Freeview, DVD player and iPhone docking station. There is a dining room area with a table large enough for 6 to sit around, a kitchen with all mod cons plus a family bathroom. Outside you can find a decked area with al fresco dining furniture plus your private hot tub.
The other 2 cabins (The Hideaway and The Getaway) are situated at the end of a quiet cul de sac in the woods and sleep up to 6 people with 1 double bedroom, 1 twin bedroom and a bed settee. The bedrooms in these properties benefit from spacious en-suite bathrooms. The outside decking area not only has a hot tub with mood lighting but also a private BBQ and chimenea area where you can enjoy dining al fresco of an evening before relaxing on the sun loungers and watching the stars.
The cabins are situated on the award-winning Felmoor Country Park and offer a great place to relax amongst nature. Bring your dog along and enjoy long walks around the park or teach your children how to build a den or find bugs! Alternatively, relax in the bubbles of your hot tub. Locally you can visit the medieval market town of Alnwick, not forgetting to take in the castle, better known as Hogwarts, the home of Harry Potter and friends. Alternatively, take a trip to the Northumberland County Zoo or the National Trust property of Cragside. Also not far from Bamburgh which has recently been named Britain's best coastal destination by Which? magazine.
Children and pets welcome in all cabins.
