The Old Station Heacham

The Old Station Heacham used to be part of the King's Lynn to Hunstanton Railway line but no trains have left the Station since May 1969. Now the site is used as a unique holiday accommodation with original Waiting Rooms and refurbished Railway Carriage to stay in.

Set in beautiful West Norfolk, the unique property is in an ideal location, being within a short walking distance from many places including, a picturesque beach, a selection of local pubs and of course, the village with its popular Norfolk Lavender experience is not far away. From Heacham, popular Norfolk attractions are within easy reach.

The Waiting Rooms is a 4-star fully converted Victorian Station still with its original internal features providing accommodation for 2 guests. There is a lounge/bedroom with a Victorian-style wrought iron double bed and furniture, Freeview TV and a DVD player. A modern fully fitted kitchen/ dining area containing an oak table, electric hob and oven, fridge, microwave and a toaster. The stylish shower room has a heated towel rail and a separate WC. In a peaceful setting with a lawned area and seating. The original platform and canopy lead out onto a lawned grass area and seating.

This property has a laundry room attached and off-road parking. Linen, towels and storage heating for winter nights is included. Other electricity by £1 coin metre.

The refurbished 4-star Railway Carriage offers a unique setting for a self-catering holiday with a capacity of 4 people. The Carriage consists of the original First Class sliding door compartment, original separate toilet compartment, an open plan lounge, dining and kitchen area, plus there are 2 en-suite bedrooms (a double and a single room). The lounge area has Freeview TV/ DVD and in the room next door there is an additional reading room.

One small dog is allowed upon arrangement. No WiFi.

Changeover day is Friday. Prices for 2020 range from £340-£452 in the Waiting Rooms and £606-£786 in the Railway Carriage. Short breaks are only possible between November and March with a minimum of 2 nights (excluding Christmas and New Year) from £204 in the Waiting Rooms / £288 in the Railway Carriage.
