The Quay House in Clifden, Ireland was built in 1820 for the Harbour Master. Today it offers 14 individually styled luxurious en-suite rooms, 12 of which overlook the harbour. The property is decorated with antique furniture, interesting detail, original paintings and various working fireplaces.

The Quay House is just a 7 minute walk from Clifden town centre with a selection of clothes shops, gift and craft shops, food shops and a book shop. There are many walking trails in the area and there is fishing, golf, horse riding, pony trekking and water sports available nearby.

Every room at The Quay House has been individually designed and has a large bathroom with a bath and a shower. They also have orthopaedic beds. Facilities include a TV, telephone, hairdryer and tea and coffee makers. 6 rooms have balconies. Twelve rooms overlook the harbour and the 2 ground floor rooms have lovely garden views. One of the ground floor rooms and all of the public rooms are fully wheelchair accessible.

OPEN MID MARCH TO MID NOVEMBER. Smoking is not allowed.

Accommodation for 2 people is €140 to €160 per night based on 2 sharing, including breakfast. Single occupancy is priced between €90 and €120 per night.
