The Rowan Yurt

Deep in the heart of Wales, just twenty minutes from Welshpool, you can find this romantic yurt with a private hot tub and access to a Finnish sauna, offering couples the chance to disconnect from the world and reconnect with each other.

The Rowan Yurt is gorgeously furnished with a handmade king-size bed, a top of the range mattress, dressed with a feather duvet and pillows in crisp cotton bedlinen. Add to that colourful pieces of furniture, lovely soft furnishings, lots of twinkling fairy lights, lanterns, candles and a wood-burner to keep things cozy, making this an ideal romantic retreat for two. There is a barbecue outside, you will need to bring charcoal if you intend to barbecue. Nearby you can find your own private luxury wet-room, dressing gowns, towels and toiletries are all provided.

Take a dip in the large hot tub with moto-massage jets to truly unwind and enjoy the stunning countryside views. You can connect to the hot tub’s sound system via Bluetooth if you want your own music playing or alternatively listen in to the tranquil sounds of nature.

The large communal kitchen offers everything you need from tea towels to cork screws. Even champagne buckets and ice have been thoughtfully provided for those special celebratory occasions! Due to social distancing rules, guests in the Rowan yurt will have sole use of the kitchen within the facilities building.

Locally you can enjoy a large number of sports including hiking, horse-riding, cycling, fishing plus canoeing, kayaking and downhill mountain biking! Alternatively, a trip to Powis Castle and Gardens is a lovely day out as is a visit to Portmeirion Village or Lake Vyrnwy.

Minimum two-night stay starts from £360 (Valentine's stay is £400).

Arrival days are on a Monday, Wednesday or Friday.

Price includes toiletries, dressing gowns, logs, firelighters, candles plus tea, coffee and sugar.

There is a minimum three-night stay for bank holidays from £570.

Please bring your own towels for the hot tub. Boots and shoes are not permitted in the yurt so please bring slippers or indoor footwear. No pets allowed.
