The Shepherd's Hut Retreat

Perfect for either a romantic break or just a well-needed escape from the bustle of daily life, The Shepherds Hut Retreat offers 5 beautifully styled accommodations for adults only in Crewkerne.

Set amongst the trees on the water's edge there are 3 Luxury Huts, each with its own private decking, fire pit and use of the Lakeside Hot Tub and Woodland Sauna (for a small fee) where guests have the chance to relax, regenerate and revitalise in a most beautiful setting. Inside the spacious Shepherds Huts you can discover a comfy double bed and TV with DVD player along with a beautiful bathroom and fully equipped kitchen. The Lakeside Hot tub, is a wood fired tub which you fill with the freshest filtered spring water and heat with ecologs, you can book a session on arrival and it really is a treat!

Also on site are 2 NEW Premium Huts with their own private hot tubs, woodland gardens, pizza oven and gin bar!! With king sized beds and outdoor lounge areas, these are the creme de la creme of shepherd's huts!

The Woodland Sauna compromises of a physiotherm infrared sauna which has greater health benefits than a regular sauna, as it heats the body and not the air temperature. After a sauna session, guests can use the outdoor shower facilities.

Looking out guests will catch glimpses of ducks paddling on the pond, buzzards circling Castle Hill and deer grazing in the field.

The location is on the borders of Somerset, Dorset and Devon and easily accessible by road and rail. The Shepherds Hut Retreat is a great base to explore all the South West and especially the World Heritage Jurassic Coast.

These accommodations are available all year round for weekend/mid-week or full week stays.

All arrival days have a minimum 2 night stay. Friday arrivals only for weekly stays.

Luxury Hut prices start at £750 per week, weekend nights from around £175 per night, and mid-week nights from around £160 a night.

Premium Hut prices start at £1250 per week, weekend nights from around £268 per night, and mid-week night from around £225 per night.

One hour sauna for 2 adults will cost £10.
