The Station House is a beautiful detached holiday home with hot tub set at the foot of the Cheviot Hills in Northumberland. The four bedroom accommodation can sleep a maximum of nine guests. Up to two dogs are welcome for a small fee.
On the ground floor, there is a spacious lounge complete with wood burning stove, library, dining room and a modern kitchen with bi-fold doors leading to a decked area and the garden. There is also a downstairs WC, utility room, cloakroom and a 'snug' - perfect for those quiet times.
There is an extensive conservatory that runs the length of the property which provides additional seating and dining area overlooking the garden. The conservatory leads on to a downstairs bedroom and the former 'ladies waiting room' is now a bathroom complete with a walk-in shower.
Upstairs there are three bedrooms (1 double and 2 twin rooms) One of the twin rooms can be configured as a triple (three single beds) The second bathroom is also located upstairs.
There is a large private garden with outdoor furniture, BBQ and private hot tub.
Secure parking for several cars.
There are two additional properties also available within the grounds of Akeld Station. These are known as The Warehouse and The Guards Van and both are advertised on QuirkyAccom.com. All three properties could be booked together to give accommodation for up to 16 guests.
Changeover day is Friday for weekly stays.
Price for a 3-night weekend break based on 8 guests staying is £1195. Weekly rates are from £1650 to £2250.
