Tipi Adventure

Tipi Adventure combines overnight stays in luxury tipis (+ our newly refurbished Shepherds Hut) with expeditions on the River Wye. The secluded riverside location, situated within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, offers a beautiful backdrop for your truly unique glamping getaway. Found just outside of the market town of Ross-on-Wye in Herefordshire, near to Goodrich Castle, Symonds Yat & The Forest of Dean. The tipis and Shepherds Hut are available individually or in combination. We can accomodate up to 68 guests.

The 11 fully equipped tipis (just bring food/drink & towels), each accommodating up to 6 people, are suitable for large gatherings, corporate outings, family getaways, school trips & anyone looking to explore the Wye Valley. The tipis are spaced out to ensure minimal disturbance from other groups, with each group having their own communal space complete with picnic benches & a large firepit with removable BBQ grills for cooking over. Those who fancy toasting marshmallows from within the comfort of their tipi(s) can opt for an indoor firepit (£20 per tipi 1st night, £10 per night thereafter).

Offering canoeing, kayaking, stand-up paddle boarding, gorge walking, climbing, abseiling, archery and bushcraft & survival sessions. The prime rural location means there is plenty to do & explore, right on the doorstep. Enjoy cycling through England's largest oak woodland at Pedalabikeaway, take on a tree top adventure at Go Ape, spot peregrine falcons from Symonds Yat Rock viewpoint, spend an afternoon on a cider tasting experience, try clay pigeon shooting, or simply relax amongst the beautiful surroundings of Tipi Adventure. The gravel beach is the perfect spot for skimming stones or launching your canoe. Dine alfresco, cosy up by the open fire & get stuck into a range of outdoor pursuits!

Provided is all kitchenware (crockery, cutlery, pots/pans, utensils, kettle etc.), bedding (duvets or sleeping bags, pillows, blankets, bed linen) and a limited supply of firewood, charcoal, kindling, matches & flamers (additional bags available to buy onsite at £5/bag). Cool boxes & ice packs are available to borrow. There is a shared toilet & shower block, cleaned at least once per day. Towels are not supplied.
