Undara Experience

Enjoy a unique outback experience in glamping options including pioneer huts, railway carriages and swag tents - and campground with facilities for groups. A great location for bush walks and a tour of the Undara Lava tubes in the Undara Volcanic National Park.

Savannah Guides offer different tours in the park. On site there is a billabong style swimming pool, a shop and there are options for eating including bush breakfast (around a campfire), a bistro and bar area.

The accommodation comprises of air-conditioned Pioneer Huts with fridge and queen size bed plus sofabed if required. They have ensuite bathrooms and private verandah.

Be adventurous and select the turn of the century railway carriages set under tall trees in amidst wildlife. These carriages have won awards and have been recently refurbished but retaining original features. Double / twins available some with sofabed. This accommodation has ceiling fans and the showers are separate.

Swag Tent Village has twin, quad and family tents for up to 6 guests. The larger options have fridge, sink and power point. They have electric light, beds with bedding and pillows and window screens.

Railway carriages and Pioneer Huts are priced at A$180 / A$190 per night. Swag tents from A$78 for 2 to A$130 for family tent.
