Wolf Wood Treehouses

Handbuilt, luxury treehouses sit high up in the boughs of Wolf Wood near Bratton Clovelly and offer a perfect retreat for those looking to get away from it. Sleeping 2 adults and 2 children, these are a great way to make family memories!

The treehouses have been made from locally sourced sustainable timber and in an effort to reduce impact upon the wood they were constructed using traditional ropes and pulleys. With access via a rope bridge, the magic starts with that first step. A large deck area lets you take in the surrounding countryside before stepping inside the treehouses. The spacious open plan areas are carefully separated by furniture giving the feel of individual rooms and the bi-fold doors let the feel of outdoors in. A woodburner keeps the treehouses cosy and here you can relax with a game or book surrounded by the people you love.

For the ultimate in relaxation, slip into the outdoor hot tub style bath and take in the sounds of nature around you or try and spot a shooting star. Fully equipped kitchens lets you cook up a storm. All treehouses have a king size bed with some having views right over the canopy of the forest, perfect for enjoying the morning sunrise. Children will love their very own bunkbed room, what an adventure!

Outside of the treehouses, take time to explore the 13 acres of Wolf Wood. Children will love splashing in the river or spotting the local wildlife, so why not pack a picnic and take advantage of the picnic and barbecue areas that can be found throughout the wood. Locally you can visit the stunning Dartmoor National Park or the ruins of Okehampton Castle. Alternatively take a drive to the North Coast and visit the seaside town of Bude, ensuring you try a typical Cornish pasty or Cream Tea.

Prices start at £500 for a 2 night minimum midweek stay in low season for 2 adults. A minimum 3 night weekend stay in high season costs £1140. Children are charged at an extra £15 each per night.
