Yan the Shepherds Hut

Yan Shepherd's Hut with private hot tub sleeps 2 and offers a romantic rural retreat on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales near Penrith.

With views over the lake of the family run farm, Yan is an off grid hut that comes complete with a double bed, wood burning stove and plenty of candles. Outside you can enjoy drinks on the steps of the hut or relax in the wood fired hot tub.

There is a shared stable kitchen with sink, fridge, microwave and kettle for your convenience. Why not order a ready made breakfast basket with sausage and egg baps (or veggie alternative), yoghurt, fresh fruit and croissants for that perfect start to the morning!

The modern shared wet rooms (which are only a short stroll away) have a unique fresh farm style design, with plenty of hot water.

This hut has an idyllic setting with views over the farmland to the beautiful Eden Valley, Pennines and the Howgill Fells in the distance. There is a fantastic selection of restaurants in Crosby Ravensworth and the surrounding area including "The Butchers Arms" just a 3-minute drive or 15 minute stroll away, "The White Horse" - famous for its Friday night Pie and Pint, and a little further away "The Black Swan" which offers a seasonal trendy style of food. Sports enthusiasts will enjoy plenty of circular walking routes that encompass the site and cycling trails with gentle roads and steeper climbs.

One small dog welcome at a cost of £5 per night. No children.
