Deep in the heart of Suffolk's stunning countryside, just a stone's throw from the historic town of Bury St Edmunds you can find a family run site offering wooden Mega Pods sleeping up to 4 people.

The MegaPods are simple in design yet very practical with everything you need in a cosy space, this is perfect glamping for first-timers! There are 2 pods: Boudicca and Aelfred and they sleep up to 4 people (maximum 3 adults) in a double bed and a double sofa bed so can suit a couple or a family. The pods are all located in the same area of woodland but are far enough apart to be private (approx 80 feet / 25 metres). Inside you can find a dining table and chairs, a wet room with WC and a kitchenette area. Outside there is a covered porch, picnic table and chairs and a brick BBQ.

Please bring everything with you that you would need if camping, eg plates, cups etc. There is no WIFI at these pods.

Locally you can visit the archaeological museum of West Stow Anglo-Saxon village, Abbey Gardens or Lackford Lakes. If you are after an adventure then High Lodge offers Go Ape Tree Top Adventures, which is suitable for all members of the family!

Quieter adventures a choice of walks including a stroll along the famous Lark Valley path, a 15 mile long marked pathway that goes through riverside, woodland, heathland and parkland. If you are looking for somewhere to dine after expending some energy then The Guiness Arms is a stunning 16th Century coaching inn, within walking distance of the site.

Dogs cost £20 for 1 dog and £25 for 2 dogs per stay.
