What do our customers think about a group break?

"Matt and Emma made us all tremendously welcome and they were always available for information and help. The safari tents were fully equipped and as there were 10 of us (8 adults and 2 children) we had two during our stay of 4 nights.

There was plenty of room with the choice of eating in the kitchen/sitting area, or on the balcony (great views). The beds were really comfortable and the showers marvellous.

Each tent had a barbecue and we found that the Paella Package that Matt and Emma put together is a must; we had it on our final night from the barbecue and enjoyed it immensely. The children much enjoyed the play area.

The Devon Railway Centre is a short walk away; worth a visit with children, as is the Bickleigh Mill Bistro and The Fisherman’s Cot.

There are a number of National Trust properties nearby (Knightshayes and Killerton close) and we spent a terrific day cycling along the Great Western Canal which starts in Tiverton; it’s very picturesque and The Globe in Sampford Peverell does a good lunch.

Very relaxing with excellent amenities and access to local walks and attractions, we can thoroughly recommend Valleyside Escapes."
