Description

Set on 10 acres in the beautiful countryside and hills of mid Wales, this site offers 4 unique yurts for group bookings offering a relaxing stay for 8 to 20 guests (max 14 adults) just 15 minutes from Welshpool.

Ash yurt sleeps 4 and has been hand built by local craftsmen and sits on a raised wooden platform. Inside this wooden yurt there is a comfortable double bed and two single futon chairs, ideal for the children. A woodburner keeps the yurt cosy, whilst a double dome skylight allows natural light to flood in by day and offers stargazing at night. Electric lighting and USB ports allow you to holiday in comfort and the dining table lets you eat indoors or offers a place to plan your stay. Quirky glass windows give the yurt a unique feel whilst the wooden interior is homely and cosy.

Oak yurt sleeps 6 and is ideal for family glamping with a double bed and a separate bedroom area for children with a traditional 19ft and 16ft yurt joined together with a door between for privacy. Sitting up on a terrace it offers plenty of space to play or simply enjoy the incredible views. Inside there is a woodburner to keep the yurts cosy plus electric lighting and USB ports which allow you to enjoy your stay in comfort. Quirky floor coverings give the yurt a unique feel whilst the large skylight is ideal for stargazing of a night time.

Cedar yurt sleeps 6 and has been handcrafted by local craftsmen and sits on a raised wooden platform. Inside this wooden yurt there is a comfortable double bed with feature wall colour, a small double day-bed and two single futon chairs. A woodburner keeps the yurt cosy, whilst the dining room table offers you somewhere to plan your day or eat inside. Electric lighting and USB ports allow you to enjoy your stay in comfort.

Cherry yurt is a traditional felt lined 19ft yurt. Inside there is a comfortable queen size double bed and two single day beds ideal for the children. A woodburner keeps the yurt really cosy, whilst electric fairy lights and lamps and USB ports allow you to holiday in comfort.

All yurts have access to a private bathroom which can be found just a short stroll away and consist of a walk in electric shower, heated towel rail and compost loo.

Outside you can dine al fresco at your picnic benches using the supplied BBQ or sit around the fire pit and toast marshmallows. There is plenty of space to play a ball game or to explore the site with its tree swings. The communal kitchen with 2 gas hobs, electric oven and private fridge is available for all to use and you can enjoy dining al fresco on the covered terrace area or cook up a storm on the patio area with pizza oven and brick BBQ. Great fun for groups of families or couples to enjoy and make memories for years to come!

Treat yourself with some bookable extras including a fabulous BBQ pack consisting of burgers, pork steaks and chicken kebabs or a Welsh breakfast with sausages, bacon, eggs, cob loaf and more.

The nearby town of Llanfair Caereinion is less than 2 miles away and can be reached via a public footpath across the Welsh fields. This is a great way to work up a thirst which can be quenched in one of the 3 pubs. Whilst here you can pick up some goodies from the butchers or convenience shops before strolling back to your yurt. During your stay a visit to the Pystyll Rhaeadr waterfalls is a must, whilst the beach at Aberdovey offers miles of dunes and sand to explore.

Children welcome. One dog welcome in each yurt (max 4) at an extra cost of £20 each per stay.

Single nights offered Sun-Thursday. In high season there are 4 night stays with a Monday arrival and 3 night stays with a Friday arrival.
