Description

New site! Each holiday property has its own private hot tub.

Great watersports facilities on site and guests receive a 15% discount at the watersports centre.

Situated in breath-taking Cornish countryside on the Lizard peninsula, Trevassack Holidays is a brand new adventure holiday destination for the whole family, just ten minutes from Helston. The site is 26 acres with the large sheltered and tranquil lake just a stone's throw from the luxury, purpose-built holiday accommodation in far west Cornwall.

There are 3 quirky and cool, well-appointed holiday cabins plus 3 architect-designed holiday cottages on site and all are close to the action. The cabins are well laid out, all one level with wide doorways and a spacious wet-room to make things easier for those with limited mobility but otherwise contemporary home from homes, with everything you need and more (private hot tub under the stars, anyone?). Cosy up in a cabin with a loved one or have some family time in Cornwall - memories are there to be made, on and off the water.

The three cottages have been designed to be fully accessible to wheelchair users, being all on one level throughout, with Clare Milne and Bradbury House having integrated ceiling hoists for easy movement between rooms and profiling beds available, as well as other aids on request (possibly available for the cabins, also - please get in touch and the staff will do their best).

The properties sleep 5-8 guests and each has its own private hot tub lowered into its deck to make it easier getting in and out, especially when you've spent far longer than planned soaking in the bubbles! With scandi-style decor, large open plan spacious styling, a fully equipped modern kitchen and luxurious wet rooms in all the accommodation, you can experience the best that Cornwall has to offer in one never-long-enough stay.

On site, the team at Trevassack are passionate about providing the best watersports activities for you and your family. With expert instructors experienced in all levels of ability and disability, and quality equipment both on and off the water, you can be sure to have an incredible experience during your holiday. You can book a private instructor for you and your guests or you can join in on any of the planned sessions. You can sail around the lake, learn to paddleboard, explore the lake by kayak or take part in one of the open water swimming sessions - there really is an activity for all of the family, subject to availability and weather conditions.

With the recent opening of our lakeside cafe (limited opening, see website for further details), you can simply sit and watch other people getting wet, or top yourself up with a warming mug of tea before diving back in. Have a slice of cake before taking one of the Pilates classes (guest instructor, booked separately) in the Learning Centre, or just take time to relax on your deck overlooking all the activity.

There's no need to go anywhere else, but if your sense of adventure compels you then locally there is plenty to enjoy with beautiful beaches and fishermen's coves to explore. The nearby Cornish Seal Sanctuary offers a close up experience with these wonderful animals with ample grassy grounds to lay out a picnic. If you need even more adrenalin than the lake's offerings, head to Flambards in Helston, a family theme park with rollercoasters, log flumes, a dinosaur area and its famous Victorian village. After all this adventure be sure to sample a typical Cornish Cream Tea...just remember to put the jam first!

High Season: Friday/Saturday arrivals with minimum 7 night stay.
Low season: minimum 3 night stay with any day arrival.
