Description

A working farm in the beautiful Yorkshire Dales offers yurts with hot tubs, an 18th Century Folly, an on-site farm shop and a restaurant which prides itself on sourcing local products.

Locally you can explore the many amazing walking routes, including the Knights Templar Route which leads you to the site of their graves and an old chapel. Or try a hike to beautiful Aysgarth Lower Falls, where you can relax and listen to the sound of the waterfalls.

Back on-site you can choose to stay in 1 of their 6 lovely traditional Mongolian yurts or a historic folly. The yurts are spaced out across Wensleydale Wood and so offer total privacy as well as off grid living. With a double bed and futons, kitchenette area with gas hob plus a private shower and toilet room the yurts have everything you need, including a wood burner to keep you cosy. Outside there is a decking area with dining table so you can enjoy eating al fresco and after dinner, you can hop into the warmth of your hot tub and enjoy the night sky. The yurts sleep up to 5 people.

For the couple looking for something a little different, the Temple Folly may be just what you are after with two octagonal rooms connected by a stone staircase and open-air balcony. The ground floor has the living space with a kitchen, dining and lounge area plus shower room and toilet and the first floor, with its beautiful views, houses the bedroom. Outside you can relax in your own private wood fired hot tub or snuggle up around the firepit!

Dogs welcome in Hazel Yurt for an additional fee.

Arrival days for all yurts are Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays with a 2 nt minimum stay.
