Delightful site on the edge of Yorkshire Dales offers a rural retreat for groups of up to 15 people sharing 3 safari tents. These are great fun for families or couples looking to enjoy time in the great outdoors from the comfort of a luxurious safari tent near Ripon.
Inside the tents you can find an open plan living area with kitchen, dining table and sofa, plus a wonderful log burner to keep you warm and cosy. The kitchens offer a hob for that morning cuppa plus a microwave and fridge. At the back of the tents you can find 2 bedrooms, one with a double bed and another with a bunk bed that sleeps 3. There is also a spacious bathroom within the tent, with a modern shower, toilet and sink.
Outside you can relax on your decked areas with a drink in hand or warm yourself around the fire pits and enjoy the stars of the bright night sky. Light the BBQ, order in a BBQ hamper and enjoy making memories with your friends and families. And be sure to remember to bring some marshmallows for that true camping experience! The onsite lake and summer house offer a great place to relax with a picnic and children will love exploring the woodland den area.
Locally there is plenty to do! Why not take a morning hike in the Yorkshire Dales before visiting the beautiful Fountains Abbey with wonderful gardens. Alternatively the market spa town of Harrogate is nearby and offers various events throughout the year as well as a multitude of independent shops to visit. After a busy day why not take a stroll to the nearby pub and enjoy a delicious evening meal or book the movie projector and popcorn maker for your own cinema night.
Children welcome. Dogs welcome in 1 tent for an extra fee. Please note the maximum number of adults is 12.
Monday, Wednesday, Friday arrivals only with the exception of school holiday stays when there are Monday and Friday arrivals. Saturday arrivals for a 2 night weekend only in low season.
The site is closed mid November - March inclusive.

Warm clothes, especially for night, practical footwear and torches. Slippers are a must too as we ask for no outdoor shoes in the tents please.
What hampers do you offer?We can supply breakfast hampers and BBQ hampers.
Is there room for a travel cot in the bedrooms?There is room for a travel cot in the second bedroom - these are not provided. Highchairs are available.
Do supermarkets deliver?All the main supermarkets deliver to us but why not order a delicious hamper too!
Is there a BBQ or campfire?Yes and yes. Each tent has its own Weber kettle BBQ and fire pit area. Charcoal, wood and kindling can be purchased on site.
Is there a pub within walking distance?Yes there is a pub close by, but be aware the walk is on a busy road with no footpath.
Where is the nearest shop?There is a shop a 5 minute drive away that stocks a good range of food including amazing pies and pasties.
Is there wifi or 4G?There is no wifi and the 4G signal is very poor so best to download things you may like to watch before you arrive.
